Modeling of the Global Daily Horizontal Solar Radiation Data over Togo

Solar photovoltaic appears to be the most interesting renewable energy in developing countries where its deposit is abundant. Unfortunately, lack of precise knowledge solar radiation and limited data hinder optimal exploitation installations. This study presents a performing model for daily global horizontal five regional capitals Togo: Lomé, Atakpamé, Sokodé, Kara Dapaong. The used were obtained from General Directorate National Meteorology Togo, years. developed combines linear nonlinear methods with harmonic exponential terms taking into account climatological parameters such as location latitude, relative humidity, ratio sunshine duration mean temperature. Statistical errors compared those two previous models elaborated Togo Nigeria. results showed that more efficient predict over main cities Togo. comparison estimated measured ones good agreement between them.
